Description:

Completed over the couse of mulitple phases, this project is the construction of NSU’s newest campus in Broken Arrow, Okla. The campus features energy-efficient geothermal heating and cooling and tornado shelters built from cast-in-place concrete in each building. The campus centerpiece is a 113 foot clock tower and all buildings are connected by skywalks. Patterned concrete sidewalks wind through the campus and are highlighted by peaceful gardens.

Phase II expanded the campus to include a library, classroom building, science building and an addition to the administration wing. The new structures compliment the original buildings from Phase I.  Phase II boasts the largest geothermal loop system in the State of Oklahoma, requiring wells drilled to the depth of 300 feet.  This project received an ABC Excellence in Construction award.
